The name of the Chalet Mounier's gourmet restaurant, "le P'tit Polyte", is a tribute to the grandfather of Alban Mounier, the current owner of the premises, and is also a nod to the nickname his father, Robert, had when he was a child. It's a perfect match for the cosy atmosphere you feel when you enter the intimate, mountain-style dining room, with its decor of blond wood, red velvet, refined objects and moving memories. As far as your taste buds are concerned, "le P'tit Polyte" has nothing to envy the neighbouring peaks of Les 2 Alpes and invites you on an extraordinary gastronomic journey. Using fresh local and foreign produce, the cuisine is inventive and ambitious, with a perfect blend of flavours.
Open Tuesday to Saturday, evenings from 7.30pm to 8.30pm - Booking recommended.
Our chefs

Guillaume Barengo, our self-taught chef, trained with some of the greatest names in French cuisine. He began his training at the Lucas Carton with Jérôme Banctel, honing his skills with Christian Lesquer, François Adamski, Gilles Goujon and Patrick Bertron before becoming assistant chef to Éric pras (Lameloise). Through hard work and self-sacrifice, Guillaume has passionately risen to the top of French gastronomy.
Accompanied by Vincent Colin, our pastry chef, who has also trained with some of the best, he will use all his art to delight you at the various tables in the Chalet Mounier.
