La restoration

Our restaurants
At Chalet Mounier, we don't take gastronomy lightly. For us, entertaining well also means eating well. All year round, indoors or out, gourmet dishes or a quick bite to accompany a glass of wine, you're bound to find something to satisfy your appetite.

Restaurant starred
Le P'tit Polyte
With your head in the clouds and your taste buds in the stars, this is the promise of our starred restaurant, the highest perched in Isère. A gastronomic journey featuring fresh seasonal produce and local specialities, an inventive and ambitious cuisine imbued with the Alpine terroir in which it is rooted. This is where chefs Guillaume Barengo and Vincent Colin combine their expertise and imagination.
"The name 'le P'tit Polyte' is a tribute to the grandfather of Alban Mounier, the current owner of the restaurant, and also a nod to the nickname his father, Robert, had for him when he was a child. It's a perfect match for the cosy atmosphere you feel when you enter the room, which is both intimate and mountainous, with its decor of blond wood, red velvet, refined objects and moving memories.
Open Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, evenings from 7.30pm to 8.30pm - Booking recommended.

The restaurant
du Chalet

The Chalet restaurant is reserved for our half-board guests. It is housed in an adjoining room that is just as cosy and warm. There's no menu here, because the Chef creates it every day according to the season and his current mood. Simply a starter, a main course and a dessert, largely inspired by the cuisine of our Michelin-starred restaurant, you'll discover a cuisine full of daring, originality and creativity. The Chalet restaurant is set in an adjoining room, just as cosy and warm.
Open every day, evenings from 7.30pm to 9pm - Booking recommended.

Le Jardin du Chalet is our summer restaurant. Open when the fine weather returns, it's a break in the day where you can enjoy your lunch on the terrace overlooking the mountain pastures.
As the Écrins National Park regains its vigour after hibernating, let yourself be lulled by its beauty and grandeur. The restaurant offers a vibrant, colourful and lively cuisine to match the gourmet flavours of summer produce.
Open in summer only, daily, lunchtime from 12 noon to 1.45pm - Booking recommended.
